Hi, my name is Desmond Rashad Jones and I am a junior here at Indiana Tech working towards to graduating with a Computer Engineering Degree. I have been a part of the Baseball team for the past two years. I have also done programming competitions for ACM as well as being an active member in NSBE. I am also currently an INROADS intern. I obtain majority of my IT skills from working in the IT department while I was in high school. I am from South Holland, IL which is a south suburb of Chicago. I have spent the last two summers here in Fort Wayne doing an internship at Carrier in Huntington, IN. One of my goals for after I graduate is to work full time at Carrier. A couple of my short term goals are to obtain a couple certifications such as the LPIC-1 and a Net+ certification. I also plan on diving into embedded programing.  I enjoy talking and playing any type of sports and I am very competitive person. My favorite teams are all Chicago sports. I like to socialize so if you ever see me walking around campus do not be afraid to talk to me!!!
