Indiana Tech's 2014 Commencement will be held on May 17.

Petition for Graduation
All students who are completing a degree must submit a Petition for Graduation, whether they plan to participate in the Commencement ceremony or not. The Petition for Graduation initiates the process of reviewing your academic records to ensure that you have met all of the requirements for your degree.
A Petition for Graduation must be received by February 1 to participate in the ceremony. Petitions filed after February 1 will not be accepted for participation in the commencement ceremonies. You may submit your petition online or download a printable version.
In order to participate in the ceremony graduates must meet one of the following requirements.
- Day students can have no more than 9 credits remaining or an internship
- CPS undergraduate students can have no more than 15 credits remaining after March 30
- CPS graduate students can have no more than 12 credits remaining after March 30
Before You Can Graduate...
Students must make sure they have completed following items:
The commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, located at 4000 Parnell Avenue in Fort Wayne. Graduates must arrive no later than 9 a.m. The ceremony lasts approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Cap and gowns will be available in May.
Staff will be available the morning of Commencement to assist you with your graduation attire and to line you up for the processional march. The graduation attire is yours to keep.
There is no official dress code; we trust that you will dress appropriately for participating in a formal ceremony.
There is no rehearsal for the ceremony. Information of what is expected of you during the ceremony will be given to you when you arrive for the ceremony.
There is a $5.00 per vehicle fee for parking.
Guests should plan to arrive between 9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. There is no limit to the number of guests you may invite to the ceremony.
Indiana Tech does not currently have a vendor for graduation announcements customized with the university's logo. The logos below are available for you to download and use in creating your own announcements.
Please consider the following guidelines:
- These logos are provided for your personal use in announcing your accomplishments to family and friends. Commercial use or reproduction in mass quantities is not permitted.
- Do not change the colors in the logo.
- Using the logo at full size will create the best results. Small and large versions have been provided.
- If you need to change the size, be careful to scale it proportionally using the same percentage for height and width.
The following hotels offer a special rate for Indiana Tech guests. You must make your reservation with the local number and tell them you are with Indiana Tech. There could be a limited number of rooms available as the date nears.

Diplomas will be sent via UPS to graduates who have completed all academic requirements and have fulfilled their financial obligation to the university 4 to 6 weeks after the graduation ceremony. Graduates who have outstanding academic requirements or financial obligations will receive their diploma via UPS 3 to 4 weeks after the requirements or obligations are satisfied.
A professional photographer will take a picture of you being presented your diploma and as you exit the stage. You will receive a free proof and the opportunity to purchase additional copies from the photographer.
Of Special Note
Graduation is a celebratory occasion - a moment to honor and recognize the achievements of each graduate. With respect to all, it is expected that guests will remain for the entire ceremony. Please turn off all cell phones/pagers during the ceremony.
