About the Business Office

The business office is located on the first floor of Abbott Center and is where students can cash personal checks, purchase meal cards and postage stamps, make tuition/fees payments, and use fax services.

The university accepts payments in the form of cash, checks, ACH, money orders, and debit/credit cards (American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard). As a service to Traditional students, personal checks may be cashed up to $125 per day between 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. (with a valid picture ID) Monday through Friday.

A STAR ATM is available on the first floor of Andorfer Commons and a Higher One ATM is available on the first floor of the Cunningham Business Center in the lounge.

Where is My 1098-t Form?

1098-t forms are mailed to each qualifying student’s home of record on or before January 31st of each year. To qualify to receive the form, your tuition billed must exceed your grants and scholarships received for that calendar year. You may login to your My.IndianaTech.edu student account to obtain an electronic version under the My Account tab.

What is TMS?

TMS (or Tuition Management Systems) is a company endorsed by Indiana Tech that allows students to make interest free payment arrangements for current or prior account balances. Please visit www.afford.com for more information.

What is Higher One?

Higher One is a financial services company that Indiana Tech uses to issue student account refunds. For more information about your options regarding how you receive your refund money please visit www.easyrefundcard.com.

When Will I Receive My Refund?

Day Students:

  • Tuition is billed after the drop period has ended for each semester; financial aid will post to your account after that has happened. Unless you have instructed us to hold your funds, a refund will be issued anytime you have a credit balance of excess financial aid on your account. We process refunds every working Friday.

CPS Students:

  • The business office processes refunds every Tuesday and Friday. You have to have a credit balance on your account to be reviewed for a refund. Please check the financial aid portal to make sure all of your financial aid information is completed so the financial aid office can disburse your awards to your student account. Once this is done if you have a credit balance on your account the business office has 14 days to send your refund to you. All Indiana Tech refunds are disbursed to Higher One. Higher One will alert you when a refund has been processed for you. The financial aid office, the business office, and the Warrior Information Network do not have aid disbursement or refund dates available.
What is OneCard?

The Indiana Tech OneCard- it’s your official student ID, which can also be used for the following campus services : Campus Cash, Door Access, Meal Plan. For more information, click here
