Getting Involved is the First Step
Let's be honest: Student life is really what you make it. Active organizations, competitive sports, and compelling events don't mean anything if you don't take advantage of them. So, we have all of those things, but it's up to you to find and enjoy those that fit you.
If you're the type of person who likes to be involved, Indiana Tech is the place for you. We have a wide variety of student clubs and organizations including student chapters of professional organizations, fraternities, and clubs built around common interests or hobbies. Join the one (or two or three) that interests you or start your own.
Whether you're an athlete or a spectator, there's really nothing like college sports. We have 19 varsity teams, and a popular intramural program as well.
Student Health 101
The Wellness Center is working with Student Health 101, an interactive health resource magazine. You can check out the magazine here.
Our classes are great, but you probably want to do more than just go to class while you're in college. That's why we schedule a variety of events throughout the year. Some are intended to expand your mind, some are just meant to be fun.
Student Health Insurance
Beginning with the 2012-13 academic year, Indiana Tech will offer a more substantial Student Health Insurance Plan. The changes are being implemented in response to the new federal mandate for student health insurance by the Department of Health and Human Services addressing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). The Indiana Tech 2012-2013 Student Health Insurance Plan is compliant with the new federal regulations.
