What I like about Indiana Tech: I like Indiana Tech is because it is a smaller school. I like the fact that when I graduate I will have met most of my graduating class. Also classroom sizes are smaller, which enhances the learning for students.
Sports/Hobbies: Lacrosse, running, reading
Goals: One of my goals is to try to always be there for my residents by giving them advice and important information/tools for them to use. Another goal is staying open minded in certain situations. This is important as well because if a conflict or situation arises, there could always be different possibilities and outcomes, and as a resident assistant one has to be prepared for that. Being able to think on your toes and keeping an open mind are extremely important. |

Bio: I will be a senior this year, and this is my third year as a resident assistant. I am also a member of the Indiana Tech men’s soccer team. I would say that my career has been characterized by my ability to work well with diverse groups of people. I seek out opportunities to involve others in my decision-making process. This collaboration and communication is what has enabled me to achieve success as a resident assistant. I believe that people are the most valuable resource of any organization. Favorite quote is “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” |

What I like about Indiana Tech: All the relationships with the students that I have met—everybody is so quick to say hello and have a conversation it's awesome (even if they have no idea who you are)! And being a student-athlete, I love that all the other students-athletes come to the other sporting events. It shows Tech's character of the students in the fact that they care to watch their fellow classmates do well on and off the field.
Sports/Hobbies: Lacrosse, rock climbing, running, swimming, golf, mountain biking, pretty much anything outdoors I'm game! And playing fetch with my super fantastic amazingly awesome dog DJ.
Goals: Just a simple girl with big dreams, ambitions, a kind heart, and a mind like no other. After I graduate I plan on going back to Texas to attend grad school to get my master’s in counseling psychology and become a family and marital counselor. |
