Indiana Tech's Fishers location at 10765 Lantern Road is scheduled to open in June 2009.
CPS Plans Fishers Location
Indiana Tech is expanding its central-Indiana campus locations with the addition of a new Fishers campus. The new facility for the College of Professional Studies will be located at 10765 Lantern Road.
“We're very excited about the addition of Fishers, as it will enable the university to more effectively cater to working adults who live and work in Hamilton County,” said Perry Collins, vice president of the College of Professional Studies.
Fishers will be positioned as the center of Indiana Tech’s graduate studies program in the greater Indianapolis area, according to Collins.
Indiana Tech's campus lease in Fishers was facilitated by Resource Commercial Real Estate on an expedited timeframe of 60 days. Site selection and lease negotiations were aided by Resource advisor Yumi Prater. The quick work enables the campus space to be built and completed in time for fall 2009 classes and for the facility to open in June.
“Indiana Tech has been considering a new Fishers location for months,” Collins said, “but Resource’s services saved us considerable time and enabled us to complete the project in time for fall classes.”
The new location will provide Indiana Tech with building signage visible from I-69. Collins and Prater agree that this visibility is expected to boost enrollment.
“We were very pleased to quickly provide them with an efficient solution,” Prater said. “It’s always good to be part of something that is positively impacting the local community.”
