Fort Wayne, Ind. — Indiana Tech’s College of Professional Studies will begin offering an organizational leadership degree in La Porte, Ind., in July. The Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership is designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills for management success in a variety of industries.
Indiana Tech is a small, private university based in Fort Wayne, Ind. Through the College of Professional Studies, the university provides accelerated degree programs to students at satellite locations in Elkhart, Fishers, Greenwood, Hammond, Huntington, Indianapolis, Kendallville, Merrillville, Mishawaka, Plainfield, and Warsaw. Online degree programs are also available.
The organizational leadership degree focuses on four skill areas: operations and administration; human relations; decision making and critical thinking; and communication. The program helps develop intuitive and informed decision-makers who can lead others toward an organization’s goals.

In the accelerated degree program, each course meets one evening a week for five weeks. This format allows students to enroll full time while working and balancing other commitments and responsibilities. Textbooks for each class are shipped to the student in advance, and the cost of textbook rental is included in tuition.
Faculty members have real world experience in addition to academic credentials, allowing them to blend textbook theory with workplace reality. Students attend class with other working adults, setting the scene for stimulating discussions of common challenges.
