Fort Wayne, Ind. – Indiana Tech’s College of Professional Studies will offer its first classes in southern Indiana in May.
Indiana Tech expanded into southern Indiana in August 2010 with the opening of an admissions office in New Albany to assist students interested in online degree programs. The university is working toward adding classroom space. Until that space is available, Indiana Tech classes will meet in the University Center North building on the campus of Indiana University Southeast.
The College of Professional Studies offers undergraduate and graduate programs in an accelerated format. The program is designed to accommodate nontraditional students who also have to balance work, family, and community responsibilities.
The first Indiana Tech class to be offered in New Albany will be Introduction to Psychology beginning May 10. Future classes in the first year will include Software Tools, Introduction to College Writing, Foundations of College Mathematics, Mathematical Problem-Solving, and English Composition I. Each class will meet one evening per week for five weeks.
