Indiana Tech and Science Central Dedicate Discovery Lab

Officials from Indiana Tech and Science Central celebrated a new partnership with the official dedication of the Indiana Tech Discovery Lab at Science Central.

The lab provides much-needed classroom space at Science Central.

"Indiana Tech chose to be involved with this project because we want to encourage young students to take an active interest in learning about the exciting world of science and technology,” Mark Richter, Indiana Tech vice president for Institutional Advancement, explained. “The Indiana Tech Discovery Lab will give students an opportunity to engage in hands-on experiments and demonstrations of scientific principles.”

Construction of the space was completed in September, and the classroom has already been used several times by visiting groups.
