Soccer, Volleyball Warriors Win WHAC Tournaments
Indiana Tech's men's soccer and women's volleyball teams both won their WHAC Tournaments on Nov. 14 to capture automatic bids to the NAIA National Tournaments.
The volleyball team defeated Madonna University 3-2 with scores of 28-26, 25-20, 24-26, 23-25, 15-6. Ashley Hamilton had 17 kills, Erica Stouder added 15, and Melanie Forman had 48 assists. The Warriors will host Walsh University in the opening round of the NAIA Tournament on Saturday in the Schaefer Center gymnasium. The men's soccer team defeated Davenport University 2-0 on goals by Joel Putek and Benny Saydee. They will travel to Maine on Saturday, Nov. 21, to take on 2nd seed University of Maine-Fort Kent.
