Given the forecast for the next few days, we'd like to remind you of Indiana Tech's winter weather procedures. If it becomes necessary to delay or cancel classes, we will use several methods of communication to keep students, faculty and staff informed.
If we announce a 2-hour delay, this means:
If we announce that the Fort Wayne campus is closed, this means:
The Fort Wayne campus will only be closed in extreme circumstances such as a power outage or an inability to safely clear parking lots. With this in mind, please take a closing seriously and stay home.
Because weather conditions may vary in different areas, please note that decisions regarding satellite campuses in the College of Professional Studies will be made on a campus-by-campus basis. If classes are not cancelled, please use your best judgment regarding your personal safety in travelling. If you cannot make it to class, contact your instructor. Also, students are advised to check Blackboard and their student email accounts for information on individual class cancellations in the event that a faculty member is unable to travel.
