How will I know if I'll receive credit from the institution I
attended?
Credit is given for all academic courses in which a grade of "C" or better has
been received. We must have a course equivalent to the course taken.
Can I find out how my credits will transfer before the
application process?
Yes. You may request a preliminary evaluation on the coursework you have
completed at another institution. Visit the credit evaluation site.
Will all of my credits transfer into my major?
This will vary depending on the major you wish to pursue at Indiana Tech.
Courses from other institutions may satisfy our core curriculum, the major and
electives. The best way to determine how your completed courses will fit our
curriculum is to submit a transcript for preliminary evaluation.
Will my grade point average from the previous institution
transfer?
No, although you must meet our policy of a minimum 2.0 GPA in order to be
considered for acceptance.
