Master of Business Administration - Accounting
The U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment of accountants and auditors to grow by 18 percent between 2006 and 2016—faster than the average for other occupations.
Such growth is expected to be the result of an increase in the number of businesses, stricter financial laws and corporate governance regulations, and increased accountability for protecting an organization’s stakeholders.
Our degrees in the accounting field can lead to tremendous career opportunities for you.
The MBA focuses on examining an organization from a functional, strategic approach. This includes emphasis on finance, accounting, and economic principles in both the domestic and international marketplaces. The accounting concentration is uniquely designed to promote career advancement for accounting professionals.
Completion of the MBA accounting program will prepare graduates for success on the CPA exam. Through a partnership with Becker CPA, Indiana Tech offers graduate students the opportunity to earn credit toward an MBA while preparing for the CPA exam. Earning both an MBA and CPA certification opens doors to opportunities in upper level accounting positions and corporate management roles.
