CPS Academic Calendar

The accelerated pace of programs in the College of Professional Studies allows you to focus on one class for a short period of time and make adjustments to your schedule throughout the year. It also allows new students to start as soon as they are ready, rather than waiting for one fall or spring start date.

Undergraduate

Each undergraduate session is five weeks long, and there are nine sessions each year starting with Session 1 in July. There are "off weeks" between Sessions 2 and 3, Sessions 6 and 7, Sessions 7 and 8, and for the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year's holidays.

Note: There is a late fee of $20 per course if you register after the registration deadline. No registrations will be accepted after 5 p.m. the Wednesday before each session starts.

Graduate

Each graduate session is six weeks long, and there are eight sessions each year starting with Session 1 in July. There are "off weeks" for the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year's holidays, and between Sessions 6 and 7.
