Qualified undergraduate students are invited to get a head start on pursuing a Master of Science in Management by enrolling in graduate courses. Indiana Tech’s 4+1 MSM program allows students to take two graduate level courses as part of their bachelor’s degree program.
Students in the 4+1 MSM program can double count up to 6 credits of graduate work. This means that credit for MBA 5000 Executive Management and one of the following courses; will count toward both your undergraduate total and your graduate total.
- MBA 5300 Organizational Behavior
- MBA 5310 Business Ethics
- MSM 5125 Accounting & Finance for Managers
- MSM 6400 Managing Change
When you complete your bachelor’s degree, you’ll already be two steps down the road toward completing your MSM. Since Indiana Tech’s graduate courses are offered at an accelerated pace, you could complete your MSM in as little as one year.
If you enroll in MBA 5000 and one of the aforementioned courses while still pursuing your bachelor’s degree, you’ll pay the undergraduate tuition rate. Plus, you’ll have two fewer classes to take — and pay for — while completing your MSM.
To apply for the 4+1 MSM program, students must:
- Have a minimum 3.5 GPA
- Have completed at least 75 credits
Students may apply to the combined bachelor’s/MBA program once they have completed 75 credits. They may begin taking MBA courses once they have completed 90 credits. The 90 credits must include BA 2010 Principles of Management or, the equivalent course work, or permission of the Dean of the College of Business.
