Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Associate of Science
The industrial and manufacturing engineering (IME) degree provides you with the skills required to positively impact a company’s bottom line. This is accomplished through a study of those topics which directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization’s manufacturing operations, such as simulation, lean manufacturing, quality management, automation, safety, and environmental issues.
The industrial and manufacturing engineering program prepares you for a common sense approach to problem solving by combining both technical and managerial skills.
The Associate of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering prepares you for positions such as industrial engineer, quality engineer, manufacturing engineer, or environmental health and safety engineer.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, industrial and manufacturing engineering job opportunities are expected to be good, and starting salaries are among the highest of all college graduates.
