Business Administration - Management, A.S.
Program Description
The associate degree is built on the same philosophy of interdisciplinary learning as the bachelor’s degree programs. Since it is only a two-year program, it does not focus on any specific concentration. Instead, it gives you the basic understanding of business accounting, marketing, and management. It also will round out your math, English, and communication skills.
The associate degree in business gives you a solid foundation of practical business knowledge that is the perfect starting point for a career. Many students with an associate degree in business continue their studies in other areas as well. If you ever wish to continue your business education after earning your associate degree, credits earned in the associate program are fully applicable toward Indiana Tech’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Career Outlook
You’ll be qualified to assume positions as management trainees, working toward middle- and upper-level management positions in a variety of businesses. Your own ambition and career goals can help you decide what to build upon this fine educational foundation.
The next step
You can continue your education by pursuing a bachelor's degree through the traditional program. Some students who choose an associate degree from our traditional day programs graduate and begin working full-time, but still pursue their bachelor’s degree. This is possible with our College of Professional Studies. These accelerated courses allow you to work a full time during the day and continue your education in the evenings.
