Credit Evaluations
In general, credit is given for all academic courses in which you have earned a grade of C or higher, if we have a course equivalent to the one you've taken. The degree program you choose to pursue will affect the number of credits that are applied toward our core curriculum, major requirements, and electives.
To get a better idea of how many of your credits will transfer and how they will fit into the requirements of your degree program, please submit a transcript for a preliminary credit evaluation. Click here for the form to submit with the transcript. Although official transcripts are required for admission, we can use an unofficial transcript for preliminary credit evaluations.
Admissions Policies
- Credit is given for courses in which a grade of C or better has been earned.
- A transfer student must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher to be considered for regular acceptance.
- A transfer student, accepted on probation because of low grades at the previous institution, will be placed on final probation following a term during which the cumulative average falls below 2.0.
- A student who has been academically dismissed must sit out one semester prior to entry at Indiana Tech.
- Athletic eligibility is determined by a number of factors; please contact Admissions for further information.
