Clearing

Last step before attending class!

Before attending class there is one last step that must be completed: clearing. Clearing is basically turning in all of your final paperwork to the business and financial aid offices as well as taking care of whatever final balance you may have left.

Clearing Process

In order to be declared “cleared” by the business office you must complete the following applicable items:

• Sign and accept your financial aid offer
• Complete Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling
• Complete Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note
• Complete Perkins Loan Master Promissory Note
• Complete the Verification Process
• Submit your $100 Tuition Deposit* - Call 1-800-937-2448, x2205 or submit your deposit online.
• Submit your $350 Housing Deposit* and Housing Application
• Register for Classes - Call 1-800-937-2448 x2205 to sign up for a registration date.
• Complete the Remittance Information Form
• Complete the Payment Plan Form
• Complete the Student Insurance Coverage Form**
• Complete the Parking Permit Form

* To receive a refunded Tuition or Housing Deposit you must submit your request in writting prior to May 1st.

** If you are already covered under some form of health insurance you will need to supply a copy of the front and back of your insurance card.
