Senior Counselor

I joined the admissions team in August 2006. It was a crazy time of year to start, but I soon realized that admissions, as well as Indiana Tech, had plenty to offer. I am originally from Fort Wayne; I was born and raised here. I did have the opportunity to go away for college and ended up just a short distance away. Yet I came right back home after I graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a minor in German from Ball State University.

College taught me a lot of things; being the first in my family to graduate from college was a tremendous accomplishment that I will forever be proud of. My college education and experiences have made me who I am today, and even though the path that I have traveled was not my original plan, I am happy where it has brought me. Now, I have the opportunity to educate young adults about the benefits of a college education, and more specifically, how Indiana Tech fits into it.
