Yergens-Rogers Hall
Yergens-Rogers Hall is designed to house juniors and seniors but occasionally will allow sophomores if room permits. The facility contains 9-four bedroom apartments and 3-three bedroom apartments to accommodate 45 students. The bedrooms are single occupancy.
Room amenities
Amenities in each apartment include:
- Twin-long bed, desk with bookshelf and corkboard, desk chair, two 2-drawer dressers, and closet
- Bathroom with bathtub/shower for every two people, and vanity sink for each student
- Kitchenette, full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, 2-basin sink with garbage disposal, breakfast counter with stools, and a large amount of cabinets
- Living room with couch, chair, coffee table, and end table
- High-speed Internet port
Telephone service inside the rooms is not active by default. Any student wishing to have telephone service in their residence hall room may lease an IP phone from the information technology office.
Building amenities
The residence hall is wireless for those students choosing to access the network in that fashion. There is also a cable television jack in the living room and each bedroom. All services are active throughout the year. Students must provide their own telephone, television, and register for their student account to access the network.
The building houses students over three floors and is staffed by one resident assistant. The main entrance to the building is controlled by card access and only permits student living in the building unrestricted access. The apartments are also equipped with video airphones which allows visitors to buzz their host’s room and also to be seen before students grant access to the visiting person. Laundry facilities are located on each floor and contain one washer ($1.25) and dryer ($1.00). The facility is monitored by closed circuit cameras internally and externally.
Meal plans
The meal plan is an optional purchase for students who live in Yergens-Rogers Hall.
