Indiana Tech - Degree Programs: College of Engineering

Energy Engineering, Bachelor of Science

The world’s reliance on fossil fuels is on the brink of causing irreparable damage to the earth. There is a need for engineers to pioneer new techniques for creating the energy essential for modern living. This includes finding ways to use fossil fuels more efficiently and in a way that won’t harm the environment further.

Energy engineers also spearhead efforts to find alternative energy sources like ethanol, solar power, or wind power ( click here to view live stats from our wind turbine). As an energy engineer, you can have a part in providing clean, renewable, environmentally friendly energy that will sustain future generations.

Due to the curriculum of many engineering programs, adding a minor may increase the time it takes to graduate.
