Information Systems, Bachelor of Science
The amount of data businesses and organizations must maintain, secure, and distribute every day is staggering. They create, exchange, update, and delete huge amounts of information each and every day, including product details, customer information, and human resources records.
Organizing and distributing this information to thousands of employees and customers is no easy task. That’s why IT professionals are needed to design efficient and adaptable information systems that help employees see the “big picture” and enable them to make informed decisions.
Note: Due to the curriculum of the information systems B.S., adding a minor may increase the time it takes to graduate. The information systems B.A. offers more open electives for students who wish to add a minor without adding time to graduation.
Minors that pair well with information systems are:
Finance
Networking
Cyber Security
Business Administration
Mathematics
