Explore how project work and internships play a central role. The curriculum is built around your project work, and several disciplines are integrated into the process. The software engineering program will provide the necessary skills to step into any development project with experience, confidence and knowledge.
The software engineering lab was designed to address the needs of a professional development team. The team is given access to required platforms and equipment for their development cycle, along with the communication tools necessary to make sure they meet the stakeholder’s needs.

Challenge
Challenge yourself with an academically rigorous curriculum. The program was organized using principles from The Software Engineering Body of Knowledge (SWEBOK), and SE2004, as well as guidance from industry partners and professionals. Indiana Tech sought to build a better degree program for those who build better programs.

In the revolutionary new software engineering program, semesters are based around completing various projects, not just going through a schedule of individual classes. You will still have courses in math, English, and other humanities, but now they directly relate to the projects you and your team are working on.
