Help When You Need It
Peer-tutoring provides Indiana Tech traditional day students with tutoring for most courses offered at Indiana Tech, particularly courses in mathematics, engineering, science, English, and accounting. All peer-tutoring is free to all Indiana Tech traditional day students. Tutoring services are funded by the U.S. Department of Education through the TRiO Student Support Services and Title III grants.
Requesting tutoring assistance
Feel free to stop by the Tutoring Center in Andorfer Commons, Room 223 to meet with our Tutoring Center staff. The Tutoring Center staff will assist in identifying specific areas in which assistance is needed and determine the best way to assist you. Generally, weekly sessions with a peer tutor are scheduled to provide consistency and to build a working relationship between the peer tutor and the tutee.
Becoming a peer tutor
If you excel in a particular subject and would like to become a peer tutor stop by the Tutoring Center (Andorfer Commons, Room 223) and speak with our Tutoring Coordinator for more information.
