Hello, I’m Brad Shank, assistant professor of Business here at Indiana Tech in Indianapolis. I teach several of the MIS courses for the College of Professional Studies, which is our evening and weekend accelerated degree program. My basic areas of instruction are hardware, networking, programming, and database design.
I have more than ten years of part-time and full-time experience teaching in technical areas, as well as three years performing network support.
One of Indiana Tech's strong points is our experienced faculty who have worked and continue to work actively in the fields for which they teach. This brings real-world expertise into the classroom, an important ingredient of effective instruction.
As a full-time faculty member, I remain committed to staying current in the ever-changing dynamic field of computer technology. In addition to continued study, I actively perform consulting services in network support and database application development. On some occasions, I even assign student projects that are directly based on my current consulting work.
