Dr. Doty Latuszek, Ph.D.

Dr. Doty Latuszek most recently served as provost and vice president for academic affairs for Gateway Community and Technical College in Covington, KY.

In that position, she was the chief academic officer responsible for all academic programs and curricula with various course delivery modalities. She supervised academic leadership, staff, 80 full-time faculty members and 150 part-time faculty members in all programs and disciplines. During her tenure, new programs were added in entrepreneurship, human resources administration, computer forensics, energy utility technician, fire/rescue science, homeland security/emergency management, information security, mechatronics systems and visual communications. She also led the academic division team that achieved successful regional accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Doty’s other responsibilities at Gateway Community and Technical College included the development and implementation of an assessment program for student learning outcomes, a centralized course management system, and the reduction of duplication within the curriculum. Dr. Latuszek also served in a series of positions at Kirtland Community College in Roscommon, Michigan, including provost, associate dean of instruction, chairperson for technical programs and instructor of mathematics and statistics.
