Julie Mansfield
Welcome to my Indiana Tech faculty web page. I am a geek. I teach in the Computer Science department and my specialties are networking, telecommunications, network operating systems and java programming. I am the Regional Director for the Cisco Networking Academy Program.
Additionally, I get to teach and also travel to meet high school students around the state of Indiana. In the summer I coordinate and occasionally teach high school teachers the curricula used by the networking academy. My husband (see the other Mansfield in Computer Science) live in rural Berne, Indiana - just down the road 'apiece' from Fort Wayne with our two dogs - Blaise Pascal & Ada; and our three cats - Java, Applet and Linus.
I am on the National Cisco Networking Academy Advisory Council. I also serve on the South Adams School Board of Trustees. Outside of my work and other play - I love to read (both hardcopy and on-line), quilt and play Nintendo (Diddy Kong racing is my favorite). I also love to run, shop and travel!
