Randy Liechty
Assistant Professor, Mathematics

Randy Liechty

Welcome to my web site. This is my sixth year at Indiana Tech. For 34 years I taught mathematics in the Ft. Wayne Community Schools. The last 30 years at North Side High School.

My duties include teaching Foundations of College Mathematics, Mathematical Problem Solving, and Statistical Problem Solving, working on the delivery and content of these courses, and coordinating their assessment for Indiana Tech. I am very excited about helping students achieve their potential. I am also teaching in the new Tech LEADS program for freshmen.

I am married to Sandie who is an adjunct math instructor at Tech. My interests include reading detective novels, listening to music (Blues, Folk, Classic Rock, Old Standards), fishing, cooking, and watching sports on TV. We have four sons and four grandchildren.

I hope if you need help or have questions you will come see me or contact me. For you to be successful in my course you must do your homework and attend class. I want to help you to be successful in mathematics and life.
