Welcome to my personal website. I have been at Indiana Tech for two years in the School of Education. I am responsible for the program’s accreditation, student teaching, state licensure, and teaching education courses.
I was an elementary teacher in Memphis, TN for 11 years before switching gears to higher education. I taught 2nd grade for four years and 3rd grade for seven years. Although I enjoyed teaching elementary school, I love preparing students to be future educators.
On a personal level...
I am married to Rodney Hamilton. He is the Head Women’s Basketball coach at Indiana Tech. We have been married for eight years.
Our daughter, Bailey, is six years old. She is in 2nd grade this year and I feel as though the years are going by too fast. She keeps me busy with school activities, homework, dance and gymnastics.
Our daughter, Brooke, is three years old. She is in pre-school and enjoying every moment of it. She keeps me busy with school activities and dance.
In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, I volunteer with Junior Achievement, Rally to Read, and Science Buddies.
