Dr. Yulia Tolstikov-Mast
Dr. Yulia Tolstikov-Mast is originally from Russia. She relocated to the United States in 1996 and made Indiana her home. Currently, she serves is an Assistant Professor at the PhD program in Global Leadership. In addition to teaching, she assists in the program development and serves as a liaison to the International Center of Indiana.
Dr. Tolstikov-Mast has over 17 years experience in higher education. In Russia, she was a Second Language Acquisition Specialist, worked in international student offices and international business. In the USA, she was involved in small business management, academic administration, taught undergraduate and graduate courses at various universities, and conducted training programs on Russian business class, cultural competencies, and intercultural communication.
Previous to coming to Indiana Tech, she was a faculty at Butler University in Indianapolis. Her other teaching positions were at the University of Indianapolis, Otterbein College in Columbus OH, The University of Memphis, TN, and IPFW.
