Potawatomi Zoo Day a success
Indiana Tech continues to look at new ways to reward our students and alumni with fun, free or low-cost activities and events. One such event (filled with monkeys, lions, kangaroos, and Chick-fil-A sandwiches) was held in South Bend, Indiana in June.
CPS students, alumni and their families enjoy lunch at Indiana Tech’s Potawatomi Zoo Day.
Cool weather and mostly clear skies helped make the Potawatomi Zoo Day in South Bend, Indiana, on Saturday, June 11, a great success! Spearheaded by Mishawaka enrollment manager, Ellen Brown (BSBA 2005), this complimentary event for all alums and current students provided a free Chick-fil-A lunch, drinks donated by Pepsi, an introduction to the Indiana Tech Alumni Association from director of alumni relations Mike Peterson, door prizes, and entrance into the zoo for up to four people per alum/student.
Be watching for more regional events and activities throughout the year. If you have thoughts or ideas for a special Indiana Tech event in your area, contact Mike Peterson by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 800.937.2448, ext. 2418.
