Get to know Marcus Farr
Led by director Marcuss Far, the band program at Indiana Tech is one that has a track record of success both with the program and students who participate.
Marcus Farr is a 1996 graduate of North Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and since then has been an instructor with the marching band and jazz band programs there. He has also served as marching band instructor at Woodlan Junior-Senior High School (2004 State Champions), Norwell High School (2006 State Champions), and East Noble High School. As a student at Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne, Farr participated in the Jazz Ensemble, Trombone Ensemble, Orchestra, and played principle trombone in the Wind Ensemble. Farr is also active in the music scene, playing with such groups as the New Millennium Jazz Orchestra, the Pyle-Drivers, and he is the musical director of the East Central Jazz Orchestra.
Farr is in his fourth year as band director at Indiana Tech.
