NSBE Annual Fundraising Banquet
The Indiana Tech chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) was chartered in 2005. Since then, the organization has had a steady presence on campus in order to fulfill the NSBE mission statement, which is “to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
The Indiana Tech Chapter hosts an annual fundraising banquet every February in order to raise funds for the NSBE scholarship, as well as funds to support the students as they travel to their regional and national conferences.
Special Guest: Jocelyn Jackson
Jocelyn Jackson, the national chair of NSBE, will be the keynote speaker for the evening’s festivities. Jocelyn is dedicated to using her leadership and voice to make a difference in the lives of other young black women interested in engineering, and to make engineering a more diverse and accepting field for all.
