{"id":246,"date":"2025-02-28T18:15:24","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T18:15:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.indianatech.edu\/doctoral\/?page_id=246"},"modified":"2025-10-16T15:01:49","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T15:01:49","slug":"admission-requirements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.indianatech.edu\/doctoral\/dba\/admission-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"Admission Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Admissions decisions for the DBA program are based on the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completion of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indianatech.edu\/apply\/doctoral\/\">Indiana Tech Doctoral Application.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official transcripts from the colleges or universities at which you earned your master\u2019s degree(s).\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Electronic transcripts can be uploaded during the application process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electronic transcripts can also be sent directly from the awarding university via official means.&nbsp;In this case, please have them delivered to<strong> maeltaleb@indianatech.edu.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paper transcripts should be sent to:<br><strong>Indiana Tech,&nbsp;ATTN: DBA Program,&nbsp;1600 E. Washington Blvd.,&nbsp;Fort Wayne, IN 46803<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must submit an original essay&nbsp;(use of Generative AI prohibited)&nbsp;of between 600-1000 words that addresses the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discuss your position and role within your organization.&nbsp; How do you envision a DBA will assist with professional growth?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What do you think will be areas of strength and areas of challenge as you enter the program?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thinking of your areas of challenge, what support network do you have&nbsp;and do you need to be successful in the program?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Describe one or two areas of interest in an organization that could potentially be used to develop your final project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A current r\u00e9sum\u00e9 (or curriculum vitae)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An interview conducted by a DBA faculty member.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once all of your materials have been received, the Director of Admissions will reach out to schedule an admissions interview with a faculty member via Microsoft Teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon completion of the interview, all applicant materials will be forwarded to the admissions committee for a final review.
