Together, they will engage in a dynamic conversation on how we can continue to revisit, reimagine and rethink justice—bringing Dr. King’s dream to life in our communities and institutions today.

Panelists

Dr. Karl W. Einolf
Karl W. Einolf, Ph.D., was appointed president of Indiana Tech by its board of trustees on December 5, 2016, and began his tenure as president on July 1, 2017. Karl is the university’s ninth president since its inception in 1930.
Since his arrival in 2017, Karl facilitated significant improvements in Indiana Tech’s academic curriculum, diversity initiatives, athletic programs, campus facilities, and technological resources. He led a comprehensive and inclusive strategic planning process to create the blueprint for Indiana Tech’s next level of excellence leading up to the university’s 100-year anniversary in 2030. The strategic plan, and its associated capital campaign, are centered on the university’s ambition to Build a Century of Excellence.
Karl came to Indiana Tech from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland, where he served as a faculty member and as dean of the Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business. During his tenure, Einolf also served as acting president at Mount St. Mary’s from February to June 2016.
Karl has a B.S. in mathematics with a minor in economics from Penn State University, an M.S. in business from Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. in business and economics from Lehigh University. Prior to entering higher education, Dr. Einolf spent five years working for the Sprint Corporation in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and in Kansas City, Missouri in various finance, marketing, and human resource functions.

Mr. Angelo Mante
Rev. Angelo Mante was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Rev. Mante returned home in 2017 after nearly a decade in Atlanta. The murder of his first cousin was the catalyst for his return, as his family felt a strong sense that God was calling them to help build a movement of peace in their hometown. Less than two years after his return home, the vision for Alive started to take shape. As Executive Director, Rev. Mante oversees the work and strategic direction of Alive.
Rev. Mante has a wealth of experience working with individuals and communities suffering from trauma and has held leadership roles in both church and social service agency settings. An ordained minister in the United Methodist Church, Rev. Mante holds a Master of Divinity from Emory University, a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries and Biblical Studies from Taylor University (Fort Wayne), and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Social Enterprise from Georgia State University. He also holds a Level 2 Certification in Kingian Nonviolence Conflict Reconciliation (our core nonviolence curriculum) and has completed Level 1 of Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience (STAR) from Eastern Mennonite University.
Rev. Mante lives in South Central Fort Wayne with his wife, Marie, and their five children. There is nothing he enjoys more than spending quality time with his family.

Dr. Kevin G. McDonald
Kevin McDonald is the University of Virginia’s vice president for community engagement and equal opportunity. He joined UVA after serving as the chief diversity officer and vice chancellor for inclusion, diversity, and equity at the University of Missouri System and the University of Missouri–Columbia.
Prior to the University of Missouri System and Flagship campus, McDonald held positions at several other universities, including as vice president and associate provost for diversity, equity, and inclusion at Rochester Institute of Technology, vice president for equity and inclusion at Virginia Tech, as associate director for compliance and conflict resolution at Johns Hopkins University, and as campus compliance officer at the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to his work in higher education, McDonald worked for the U.S. Department of Justice and for Network Solutions, Inc.
McDonald holds a law degree from The Ohio State University and a doctoral degree in higher education leadership from the University of Rochester. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

Diana Patton, Esq.
Diana R. Patton is an Authentic Power Strategist and high-energy speaker on a mission to elevate 100,000 women by 2035. Through her groundbreaking Path to Power, Purpose and Connection™, Authentic Power to WEALTH™, P.A.S.S.I.O.N. framework, and her Rise Advocates® Academy, Diana empowers high-achieving corporate women, and organizations, to lead from a place of deep healing, authenticity, and bold purpose.
A former civil rights attorney and corporate executive, Diana’s personal journey, from surviving childhood trauma to reclaiming her voice in corporate settings and boardrooms, fuels her passion for creating safe, transformational spaces where women can do the inner work that sustains outward success.
Today, she leads a growing Rise Advocates® global movement to help women rise, using fitness, intermittent fasting and their WEALTH™ to RISE, without burning out. Her Rise with Diana consultancy, All Rise Live Global Summit, and Hotter at 53 events equip women with the tools to lead authentically, speak powerfully, and make a meaningful impact in their organizations and communities.
Diana’s most recent awards include being named a 2025 champion for Equity and Inclusion from the Women of Toledo, and receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award from her alma mater, the University of Toledo.
Diana is also the author of Inspiration in My Shoes and This Yogi’s Journey, and is host of the Rise with Diana podcast. Her courageous storytelling, proven frameworks, and unapologetic belief in the power of inner transformation makes her one of the most compelling voices in women’s leadership today.
