Residency Experience
As part of the DBA program, students will participate in one in-person residency experience on Indiana Tech’s campus in Fort Wayne, Ind. The residency connects you with your DBA peers and faculty while providing hands-on learning opportunities in professional management, leadership development and decision-making. Through real-world exercises, you will apply theoretical knowledge to solve practitioner challenges, propose actionable solutions for organizational issues and navigate stakeholder needs. With an in-class project and group presentation, this immersive experience equips you with the skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic business environment.
- Sharpen your ability to tackle complex global business challenges using proven leadership and strategic decision-making frameworks.
- Gain a deep understanding of cultural diversity and its crucial impact on international business, enhancing your ability to craft effective organizational strategies, communication and leadership approaches.
- Analyze emerging trends and develop innovative solutions for real-world global business issues.
Collaboration during your residency experience is key, as you work with your peers to complete impactful business challenge projects and communicate your findings with cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
Financial Aid Opportunity
Because travel to residency is a required part of the doctoral programs, students may be eligible to borrow additional loan funding to cover the costs of hotel, flight, and car rental expenses. Students must submit a receipt to the Doctoral Programs Department within 30 days of the conclusion of the event to be considered for this increase in aid. This adjustment to cover these costs will only be applied if aid is available to the student.
