Indiana Tech now accepting Indiana College Core credit

January 16, 2024

Effective immediately, Indiana Tech will begin accepting Indiana College Core credit.

The Indiana College Core program was implemented by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education to get more Hoosier students educated beyond high school. It gives high-schoolers who have completed 30 credits of general education, college-level coursework a seamless pathway to transfer those credits to any of Indiana’s public universities and some of its private universities. Students achieve this credit through a combination of dual-credit, dual-enrollment and Advanced Placement courses.

“Indiana Tech is pleased to partner with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education for this program,” said Director of Admissions Robert Confer. “It rewards students for their hard work and motivates them to continue their education while saving them money on college tuition. What an outstanding opportunity for Hoosier students!”
