Partnership paves way for Siena Heights students to pursue Ph.D. at Tech

Indiana Tech and Siena Heights University (SHU) in Adrian, Michigan, have partnered to offer an articulation agreement that will benefit future global leaders. Starting immediately, graduates from Siena Heights University who have earned a master’s in business administration, organizational leadership, higher education leadership or healthcare leadership are eligible for admission to Indiana Tech’s Ph.D. in Global Leadership program with between nine and 15 credit hours of earned credit. In addition, Siena Heights master’s students who graduate with a GPA of 3.0 or higher can receive a merit scholarship worth 20% off the cost of Ph.D. tuition at Indiana Tech.

“This new partnership with Siena Heights University will save students who wish to pursue a Ph.D. valuable time and money by helping them leverage the knowledge gained from their graduate program to achieve their educational goals faster,” said Dr. Kevin Bottomley, assistant professor of Ph.D. and associate dean of the College of Business graduate and Ph.D. programs at Indiana Tech. “The master’s in leadership programs at Siena Heights are an excellent match for taking the next step into the Ph.D. in Global Leadership at Indiana Tech. This partnership helps make that transition a seamless one.”

Dr. Angela Dunn, dean of graduate academics and digital education at Siena Heights , emphasizes the shared commitment of both institutions to provide accessible and affordable education geared towards preparing students for successful careers.
