Partnership with Vincennes University will provide seamless transfer opportunities

January 11, 2024

Indiana Tech and Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana, have partnered to offer three distinct articulation agreements that will benefit current and future students of both schools. Starting immediately, graduates from Vincennes University who have earned an Associate of Science in human services, communication or psychology are eligible for admission with junior standing to Indiana Tech. Articulation agreements such as this help students by simplifying the transfer process from a community college to the four-year university of their choice. The agreements will help Vincennes students majoring in social work, communication studies and behavioral sciences seamlessly earn a Bachelor of Science from Indiana Tech in human services, communication or psychology.

“Accessible and affordable education that prepares students for career success is a primary focus for both Indiana Tech and Vincennes University. This partnership has the potential to significantly assist a greater number of students in achieving their educational goals,” said Dr. Steve Herendeen, Indiana Tech’s vice president for enrollment management.

In addition to the new articulation agreements, Vincennes graduates with a GPA of 2.5 or higher are eligible for a merit scholarship, which reduces their Indiana Tech undergraduate tuition by 20 percent.
