The Recreation Center is a casual, activity-based event space located on the lower level of Andorfer Commons. The space is a great fit for birthday parties, team events, youth groups, staff outings, and small celebrations.

Bowling Alley Availability:

The Recreation Center includes a bowling alley, but bowling is a complimentary feature and is not guaranteed as part of the rental.

Bowling lane availability depends on maintenance, staffing, and technician availability. Because bowling is not included in the rental fee, refunds or discounts are not provided based on whether bowling is available during your event.

If bowling is an essential part of your event, please contact Conference Services before booking to confirm the current lane status.

The Rec Center includes access to:

• 5 six-foot tables for food
• 10 round tables for seating
• 55 chairs, plus additional couch seating
• 2 ping-pong tables
• Foosball table
• Shuffleboard table
• 3 pool tables
• Battle Putt game
• Air hockey table
• Arcade game machine
• Large Jenga set
• 1 TV with Xbox and Game Pass
• 2 TVs with HDMI cords
• Music options

Small note: Controllers are available at the front desk. Guests may log into their own music account or ask staff to play family-friendly music.

Pricing and Discounts

Rental Rates

• Base Rate: $400 for the first 3 hours
• Minimum rental period is 3 hours
• Additional Hours: $100 per additional hour

Discounts

• 25% affiliate discount for Indiana Tech students, staff, faculty, and alumni
• 50% nonprofit discount with proper documentation

Before You Book

Please review the following before submitting a request:

• The Rec Center is available for select winter/summer break rentals only.
• Capacity is limited to 75 guests.
• The minimum rental is 3 hours.
• Bowling is complimentary and not guaranteed.
• Refunds or discounts are not provided based on bowling availability.
• Food, alcohol, decorations, and special setup requests must be approved in advance.
• Indiana Tech staff are not responsible for supervising children, decorating, or running activities.
• Your rental is not confirmed until approved by Conference Services.

Parking: Free guest parking is available right in front of Andorfer Commons (Building B) with the closest parking lot being Lot 2 and overflow parking available in Lot 6.

How to Request a Rental

2. Submit the rental request form.
3. Conference Services will review your request.
4. If available, we will confirm event details, setup needs, food plans, and policy requirements.
5. Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive official confirmation from Conference Services.
