Introductory Robotics Program
In the 8-week high school introductory robotics program hosted on Indiana Tech’s Fort Wayne campus, students will gain hands-on experience learning the mechanics, functions and programming of a state of the art robots. This program is open to students in grades 9 through 12 and will be taught by Indiana Tech faculty experienced in robotics.
In this introductory program, participants will:
- Learn about the quadruped robot and how it is used in industry
- Explore uses for different electronic components and sensors
- Begin programming, using Arduino and Python languages
Dates
Meets Thursdays 5:30-7:30 p.m., beginning October 3 through December 5.
This program is held in the Zollner Engineering Center on the Indiana Tech campus.
Costs
The cost is $225 per student for the full year. Costs cover a t-shirt, materials and snacks during meetings.
