Introductory Robotics Program
In the 8-week Introductory Robotics Program students will gain hands-on experience learning the mechanics, functions and programming of a state-of-the-art robots. This program is open to students in grades 6 through 12 and will be taught by Indiana Tech faculty experienced in robotics.
In this introductory program, participants will:
- Learn about the quadruped robot and how it is used in industry
- Explore uses for different electronic components and sensors
- Begin programming, using Arduino and Python languages
- Program Hiwonder MechDog and Dobot Magicians
Dates
This program is held in the Zollner Engineering Center on the Indiana Tech campus.
Fall 2026 Session meets Wednesdays 6-8pm September 16 through November 4.
Costs
The cost is $225 per student for the full year. Costs cover a t-shirt, materials and snacks during meetings.
