Creative Expression and Communication Camp
This week-long half day camp is designed to spark curiosity and cultivate innovation as participants explore creativity in “performing arts.” Students will learn new skills through activities like photography, creative writing and graphic design. The camp will be facilitated by Indiana Tech faculty and industry professionals who work in the Fort Wayne community.
Campers will learn from and work alongside knowledgeable and experienced professors in the areas of:
- Broadcasting
- Multimedia journalism
- Creative writing
- Arts and theater
- Strategic marketing
- and Photography

Middle School Camp Details
Date
Camp begins on Monday, June 23 and ends on Friday, June 27. Each day, campers should arrive at Andorfer Commons at 8:15 a.m. and depart at 12:30 p.m.
Costs
The cost is $250 per student, which includes all project materials, breakfast, snacks, lunch and a t-shirt.

After submitting the registration form below, you will receive an email for payment.
Registration will remain open until all spots are filled or 1 week before start of camp.

Faculty Director
Dr. Wireman’s background includes experience in print journalism, freelance reporting and digital communication development. In addition to serving as editor-in-chief of the Grand Valley Lanthorn, she developed digital content for various online platforms. She is currently a member of the Society for Professional Journalists, the Central States Communication Association, the National Communication Association and the Public Relations Society of America. She publishes in peer-reviewed journals that focus on leadership and communication and presents at conferences every year.
