High School Engineering Camp

Launch + Lead Camp

At this week-long day camp, high school students will participate in activities that will help them identify their individual professional strengths and apply them in various leadership and business settings. Camp programming will instill critical leadership skills, foster personal development and include design thinking, marketing and business development workshops. In the end, students will better understand their leadership capabilities and potential career pathways available to them.

Craig Dyer

Associate Professor of Sport Management

Professor Dyer is the program lead for Indiana Tech’s successful sport management degree program. Over the past five years, graduates from Dyer’s program have earned impressive positions with big-league teams, including the Tennessee Titans (NFL), the Atlanta Hawks (NBA), the Calgary Flames (NHL) and FC Cincinnati (MLS).

Dr, Staci Lugar Brettin

Professor of Marketing and Management

Dr. Lugar Brettin’s experience includes launching her own business and collaborating on the start-up and formation of new ventures. She is also experienced in training entrepreneurs and business owners in business feasibility, start-up evaluation, business plan creation and entrepreneurial planning and growth.

Dates

Camp begins on Monday, July 7, and end on Friday July 11. It runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop-off time is 8:45 a.m. and pickup time is 3 p.m., from the Cunningham Business Center. Use Entrance 7 from the Maumee Ave. side of campus.

Costs

The cost is $400, which includes all project materials, breakfast, snacks, lunch and a t-shirt.
